Carl Payne Big Band delivers an authentic, polished jazz sound. The Carl Payne Big Band specializes in music from the Big Band Swing Era, with a bit of contemporary Rhythm and Blues. The band members include band directors, teachers, engineers, lawyers, law enforcement, TV producer, college and high school students. The goal is to preserve the music of the Big Band Swing Era and educate, not only the listening public but young aspiring musicians.
